Faye Peace BSc(hons) Podiatry, HPC registered, M.CH.S. completed a 4 year degree course in 2001 from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and is now offering a comprehensive clinical service for all your lower leg needs. Home visits will be offered for those who cannot get to the clinic.

There is no difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist. Podiatry is the term used by the rest of the world for the study of feet and about 15-20 years the title of Chiropody was replace of Podiatry, but we still use both titles as everyone still associates the Chiropodist as the person that treats feet.

- So "What is Podiatry?"

Podiatry or Podiatric Medicine is a field of healthcare devoted to the study and treatment of disorders affecting the lower extremities (e.g. foot, ankle, knee and hip). Therefore, the Podiatrists aim is to improve the mobility, independence and quality of life for their patients by providing preventative care, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of problems affecting the lower limbs.

Therefore, Podiatry can help any age group with:
