Isobel and Angela saw an opportunity to offer both locals and visitors bespoke tours of their home county, took the plunge and launched Above and Beyond in March 2019. Using their vast experience and knowledge in the tourism industry, realised that Caithness with its unexploited beauty makes it a unique year round destination. We have an ideal environment to explore at a slower pace and escape from daily stresses in today’s fast paced culture.

Tours are flexible and can be adapted to create a bespoke personalised experience based on visitors’ preference.

Looking forward: Above and Beyond Tours aim to offer days out in Caithness and are developing “Experience” packages. This will give the opportunity for locals to explore places they’ve not visited since childhood if at all and will give visitors a unique insight into the many talents within the county - artists, jewellery making, crafting, baking and chocolate making.
Plans will include:
· Strolling along a beach mindfully looking for Groatie Buckies
· Being creative ie, chocolate making, art workshop, glass making
· Enjoying local hospitality
