Caithness District Partnership Meeting Friday 31st October

The Caithness District Partnership next meets in Wick on Friday 31 October 2014 and the agenda will feature an update on the progress made in the implementation of a Family Team for Caithness.
The meeting will also feature updates from Bob Silverwood, the NHS Area for Caithness and Sutherland the Manager.of Scottish Ambulance Service will also deliver a presentation on Public Access Defibrillators.
The Partnership meeting takes place at 10.00 am in the Chamber of Wick Town Hall, Bridge Street, Wick and will be the last of the four partnership meetings held this calendar year.
Dates for the 2015 meetings will be advised in due course via the Councils web site.
The public are more than welcome to observe the meeting and will be invited by the Partnership Chair, Councillor Bill Fernie, to comment on the items discussed at the end of each section of the agenda.
Following the recent refurbishment works the Wick Town Hall is now fully DDA compliant.
About District Partnerships
The District Partnerships bring together the council, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue, NHS Highland and the Highland Third Sector Partnership to consider issues relating to the delivery of health, social care and community safety.
The Partnership's role is to:
Consider issues of service delivery and make sure these are addressed
Identify local priorities in the delivery of services for children and adults
Comment on monitoring reports of children and adult services
Consider the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
Propose new developments and initiatives
Provide views on the redesign of local services
