There was broad consistency in furlough rates across the nations and regions of the UK at the end of December with London having the highest take-up rate of 16% against the UK average of 13%.   Provisional estimates show that this was also true at the end of January with London having the highest take-up rate at 17% against an increased UK average of 16%.

Vaccines Delivered To A Third Of Scotland's Eligible Population

England Joins Scotland To Protect People With Learning Difficulties
JCVI has advised the government to invite all people on the GP Learning Disability Register for COVID-19 vaccination.   The advice of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) remains that adults with severe and profound learning disabilities, and those with learning disabilities in long-stay nursing and residential care settings, should be offered the vaccine in priority group 6 (people with Down's syndrome are included in group 4).
