Notice Of Election Published For Highland Council By-election - Skye

The Notice of Election and nomination forms for the Eilean à Cheò Ward 10 by-election have been published today (Thursday 23 January) on The Highland Council's website.

The by-election is being held following the resignation of Ronald MacDonald (Independent) who was one of four Councillors representing Ward 10. The other Ward members are Councillors John Finlayson (Independent), John Gordon (Independent) and Calum MacLeod (Non-aligned).

The deadline for nominations is 4pm on Monday 10 February 2020 and unless the by-election is uncontested, voting will take place on Thursday 12 March 2020 with the count taking place the following day within the ward.
