The EU's recovery package does not signal the advent of an EU superstate

Georgina Wright writes for the Institute for Government and independent think tank. In her latest article she outlines details of the €750 billion coronavirus recovery package and approved the €1,074 trillion seven-year EU budget which will take effect on 1 January 2021.
Now that the UK has left the EU we are bystanders looking on but there will be huge affects and consequences for all four nations of the UK if they get it wrong notwithstanding the many other consequences of Brexit as we run to the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020.
