752 new cases of COVID-19 reported

10,326 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results - 8.6% of these were positive

4 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends).

151 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed COVID-19.

2,016 people are in hospital with recently confirmed COVID-19.

Since the start of the outbreak:

5,709 people have died who have tested positive as at 25 January.

7,448 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19.

was mentioned on the death certificate up to 17 January.

38% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 55% were in hospitals and 6% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 17 January).

415,402 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 5,538 have received their second dose.

Hospitals and ICU

2,016 people were in hospital with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 151 were in intensive care.

in the week ending 21 January, 1,075 COVID-19 patients were admitted to hospital.

in the week ending 24 January there were 107 patients who have been confirmed with COVID-19 admitted to intensive care.

11,042 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March.

as at 20 January 1,100 people were delayed in hospital.
