1,330 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

26,551 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results - 6.2% of these were positive.

92 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

145 people are in intensive care with recently confirmed COVID-19.

2,016 people are in hospital with recently confirmed COVID-19.

462,092 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 6,596 have received their second dose.

​​​​​​Since the start of the outbreak:

5,888 people have died who have tested positive as at 27 January.

7,902 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19.

was mentioned on the death certificate up to 24 January.

38% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 56% were in hospitals and 6% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 24 January).
