830 new cases of COVID-19 reported

24,121 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results - 4.0% of these were positive.

48 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

109 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

1,499 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

1,048,747 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 13,195 have received their second dose.

in the week ending 7 February, 374 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate

Since the start of the outbreak:

6,599 people have died who have tested positive as at 11 February.

8,726 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 7 February.

36% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 57% were in hospitals and 6% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 7 February)

40,712 care home staff (90% of staff in older adult care homes and 78% of staff in all care homes)

242,518 people aged 80 or over living in the community (97%) - this excludes care home residents who are reported separately

278,175 frontline health and social care workers exceeding the initial target of 230,000 staff provided by Health Boards.

165,242 people aged 75-79 living in the community (87%) - this excludes care home residents who are reported separately

152,352 people aged 70-74 living in the community (54%) – this excludes care home residents who are reported separately.
