581 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

20,410 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results - 3.3% of these were positive.

27 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

80 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

924 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

1,542,929 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 65,340 have received their second dose.

On 26 February, 27 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

In the week ending 21 February, 290 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

7,111 people have died who have tested positive as at 26 February

9,347 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 21 February.

34% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 59% were in hospitals and 6% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 21 February).

As at 7:30am on Friday 26 February:

1,542,929 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 65,340 have received their second dose.

Latest progress on first doses for the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) priority groups as at 8:30am on Friday 26 February:

31,323 care home residents (exceeding the initial target for residents in older adult care homes and 98% of residents in all care homes).

43,644 care home staff (97% of staff in older adult care homes and 84% of staff in all care homes).

296,256 frontline health and social care workers exceeding the initial target provided by Health Boards.

158,843 people who are Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (89% of those on the shielding list).
