Covid Outbreak At Ward 2c In Raigmore Hospital

On Saturday 6 March visiting and admissions to Raigmore Hospital Ward 2c was suspended due to a Covid outbreak. Ward 2C at Raigmore Hospital is closed to new admissions and visiting following the detection of a very small number of cases of Covid-19. Patients are being clinically assessed and monitored with normal patient care continuing.

On Sunday 7th March NHS Highland issued the following statement.

NHS Highland can confirm that Raigmore Hospital ward 2c has no further confirmed COVID-19 cases overnight.

Standard infection prevention and control procedures will be remaining in place. The ward will remain closed to visiting and admissions until further notice.
