484 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

16,261 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results - 3.3% of these were positive.

2 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends).

40 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

461 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

1,888,697 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 160,038 have received their second dose.

on 14 March, 2 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends).

in the week ending 7 March, 141 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

7,510 people have died who have tested positive as at 14 March.

9,725 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19

was mentioned on the death certificate up to 7 March.

34% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 60% were in hospitals and 6% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 7 March).
