"Thurso Legion is starting a regular drop-in cafe for the Veterans community - please come and join us for our first session!

We offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a place to meet like minded souls for refreshments and conversation. We will also have a representative from the Veterans Community Support Service available at the first drop-in to listen and assist with any issues Veterans or their families may have. The types of help and support we can offer include befriending, comradeship activities, and practical help and support with any issues you might be facing.

We are keen to expand the Veterans Community Support Service more widely in the Caithness area and welcome contact from anyone who might like to get involved as a befriending volunteer, or who would like to benefit from our support service. If there is sufficient interest beyond Thurso the service would be keen to host more events throughout the area and transport may be available for those who would require it.

Please come along on the 10th, or contact Emily Clark on 07876 202437 or e.clark@legionscotland.org.uk "
