Business Travel Has Changed and May Never Get Back To Pre-Pandemic Levels

As the pandemic continues more stories are appearing about how the pandemic as affected and will continue to affect Business Travel. Online meetings and conferences have taken over much of the business world leading to a down turn air travel, hotel bookings and pub and restaurant visits.

The public sector also has seen big changes to ways of working with both officials, MSP's and councillors travelling much less and offices closed with staff working from home much more.

Highland Council alone saw expenses for Highland councillors down by more than £150,000 last year. Mileage accounts for some but hotels and meals reduced greatly being good for the taxpayer bit not good for the businesses that supplied the services.
