With MOTs set for a price increase under new DSVA plans, knowing how to take care of a cars basic needs could help UK drivers to save thousands of pounds in the long run. Driving Test prices will also increase from next year.

Unsurprisingly, most of us are not well versed in car mechanics and Google is often the first port of call when it comes to finding out about basic car maintenance.

As such, car insurance provider Uswitch has uncovered the most searched motoring problems in the UK from Google search data, to help British drivers to get to grips with showing their cars a little bit more love.
