57 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

902 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,308,371 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination and 3,895,239 have received their second dose.

on 25 October, 0 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are generally closed at the weekend).

in the week ending 17 October, 139 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

9,052 people have died who have tested positive as at 25 October.

11,406 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 17 October.

31% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 62% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 17 October).

902 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 57 were in intensive care.
