Farmfoods New Store At Wick Opens Friday 29th October

More competition in the food market in Caithness begins on Friday 29th October with the opening of a new Farmfoods shop in Wick.

The new store occupies the one formerly occupied by Poundland and another one next door.

Farmfoods will sell branded and own-brand products including frozen food, groceries, chilled foods, bread, milk, fresh fruit and vegetables along with a range of household items.

The competition nearby is Lidl and B & M that occupies the former Homebase store. The grocery competition in Wick is now intense with Tesco and Coop as well as other smaller food shops in the town.

Customers can get money off vouchers by signing up online at www.farmfoods.co.uk Vouchers will be emailed and can be printed out or photographed on cell phones. Alternatively the numbers on the vouchers can be told to the check out operators.

The opening hours will be 8am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm Saturday and 9am to 6pm on Sunday.
