Coronavirus Cases Pass 5 Million Worldwide

The latest up date shows the virus has caused the deaths of 5,007,629 and rising.

USA is still the worst in terms of total numbers at 765,722

UK has one of the highest death rates in Europe at 140,392.

As noted today the numbers are going the wrong way in all the countries of UK.

UK also shows up badly when looking at deaths per million compared to most other countries.

Wit less social distancing and mask wearing in UK it points to an upward toll as we move further into winter even as the vaccine programme keeps rolling out.

The flu season is predicted to bring many more deaths compared to last year when there were very few.
