Badenoch
A9 road between Ralia (Kingussie) and Blair Atholl - Drifting snow - currently open, with a convoy system being operated behind ploughs. Please be patient when you reach the affected areas. Journeys times will be considerably longer under these circumstances.
A939 between Grantown and Nairn and the A940 from Dava to Forres - closed due to snow.
B9007 between Carrbridge and Ferness - closed due to snow.
A889 between Dalwhinnie and Laggan - closed due to snow.
Sutherland
A894 between Skiag Bridge and Newton Junction - currently closed due to snow.
Skye
Unclassified road between Staffin and Uig (Skye) - closed due to snow.
Wester Ross
Unclassified road between Kishorn and Applecross (Ross-shire) - closed due to snow.
Overnight the Badenoch area was particularly affected by drifting snow overnight and many minor roads will still have deep drifts. Police are asking that motorists only travel in this particular area if necessary.
Elsewhere, all remaining roads in the Northern Constabulary force area remain open, although many are still affected by residual snow and ice.
