44,434 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results
9.1% of these were positive.

19 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

61 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

778 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,325,307 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination and 3,920,006 have received their second dose.

on 10 November, 19 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

in the week ending 7 November, 140 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

9,332 people have died who have tested positive as at 10 November.

11,818 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 7 November.

30% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 63% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 7 November).

778 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 61 were in intensive care.

in addition, yesterday 18 confirmed COVID-19 patients were in intensive care longer than 28 days.

in the week ending 6 November, 578 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospital.

in the week ending 9 November, 41 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to intensive care.

24,031 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020.

as at 3 November, 1,520 people were delayed in hospital.
