3,077 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

31,384 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results
10.3 % of these were positive.

1 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive (noting that Register Offices are now generally closed at weekends).

56 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

765 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,327,340 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,924,870 have received their second dose

on 12 November, 17 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

in the week ending 7 November, 140 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

9,375 people have died who have tested positive as at 12 November.

11,818 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 7 November.

759 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 55 were in intensive care.

in addition, yesterday 19 confirmed COVID-19 patients were in intensive care longer than 28 days.

in the week ending 8 November, 545 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospital.

in the week ending 11 November, 52 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to intensive care.

24,195 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020.

as at 10 November, 1,527 people were delayed in hospital
30% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 63% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 7 November).
