2,888 new cases of COVID-19 reported.

33,776 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results
9.1% of these were positive.

21 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.

60 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

73 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.

4,343,208 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 3,944,225 have received their second dose, and 1,568,535 have received a third dose or booster.

on 26 November, 21 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.

in the week ending 21 November, 94 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.

Since the start of the outbreak:

9,545 people have died who have tested positive as at 26 November.

12,028 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 21 November

29% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 63% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 21 November).

734 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19; of these, 60 were in intensive care.

In addition, yesterday 14 confirmed COVID-19 patients were in intensive care longer than 28 days.

In the week ending 22 November, 469 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to hospital.

In the week ending 25 November, 37 patients with confirmed COVID-19 were admitted to intensive care.

25,080 inpatients who tested positive for COVID-19 have been discharged from hospital since 5 March 2020.

As at 24 November, 1,484 people were delayed in hospital.
