Dounreay have updated their procurement requirements list.
Opportunities
Commercial pipelines provide a forward look at potential commercial activity within a department. The information presented is for reference only and reflects the Dounreay anticipated procurement pipeline.
Dounreay makes no commitment that:
The requirements identified in this table will be procured
The annual value of any contract will be as stated
The timing of any future procurement exercises will be as stated
The sourcing route for any subsequent procurement has not been determined, for example it could be via frameworks managed by Crown Commercial Services (CCS) or open competitions.
Dounreay cannot guarantee that these opportunities will be available to all suppliers.

NDA Group Investing In Our Communities

Over the last five years, the NDA group has invested £60 million in projects that enable permanent and sustainable change in its site communities, leveraging many millions more from partners.

What Is Thorp? - Thermal Oxide Reprocessing Plant
Today, the ponds inside the Thermal Oxide Reprocessing Plant (or as we like to call it, Thorp) are used to store nuclear fuel that has been used in the UK's 7 operational nuclear reactors. Before taking on this new mission, Thorp reprocessed 9,000 tonnes of used nuclear fuel from around the world, generating an estimated £9 billion in revenue for the UK over 2 decades.
