34,445 new tests for COVID-19 that reported results
7.6% of these were positive.
16 new reported deaths of people who have tested positive.
46 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.
652 people were in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed COVID-19.
4,350,133 people have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, 3,954,992 have received their second dose, and 1,790,728 have received a third dose or booster.
on 3 December, 16 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive.
in the week ending 28 November, 97 deaths were registered where COVID-19 was on the death certificate.
Since the start of the outbreak:
9,634 people have died who have tested positive as at 3 December.
12,127 deaths have been registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate up to 28 November.
29% of COVID-19 registered deaths related to deaths in care homes, 63% were in hospitals and 7% were at home or non-institutional settings (as at 28 November).
