Norovirus - Bignold Ward, Caithness General

Bignold Ward at Caithness General has been closed to new admissions due to several patients with symptoms of diarrhoea and/or vomiting. Norovirus has been confirmed.

Visiting to the ward has also been restricted to essential only. Next of kin can contact the ward to discuss visiting arrangements.

We would ask all members of the public that if they have, or live with someone who has, symptoms of diarrhoea and/or vomiting they please refrain from visiting any hospital or care home setting until clear of symptoms for 48 hours.
