Plan To Revamp A Derelict Building In Wick Once A Video Rental Shop

Empty for many years an old building at the corner of Smith Terrace in Wick may finally be restored to new uses following a planning application lodge with Highland council.

The building once housed the Mayfair video business.

Over the years it has been mainly neglected and left to the pigeons.

The initial intention is to open a takeaway business and then to open up the building for other users to open other businesses.

A new clock is to be fitted in the clock tower.
