VisitScotland - coming to a place near you

27th February 2006

Following on from the success of the December road shows, where Business Relationship Managers visited every location in the Highlands to speak directly to our tourism businesses, the format has now been extended. On one particular day of each month, barring July and August, a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will spend an hour at each Tourist Information Centre or other location, specifically to meet anyone in the tourism industry and to offer help and guidance.

Surgeries are now in full swing and BRM Helen Tolmie will be in Caithness and Sutherland next week. Helen said: "We've had a good turn out so far at our surgeries in other areas and the feedback we are getting from our colleagues in the industry is that they much prefer this face-to-face approach." She continued: "We hope that through these regular sessions, we can establish good working relationships and provide a better service to our customers."
