Sunak's talk of a £28bn cost of public sector pay rises is total CRAp

Richard Murphy (Social media accountant of the year for the fourth year running) has used his blog to demolish the Prime Ministers argument for not giving public sector workers the rise they deserve.

It is difficult to understand other than brainwashing why we hear these old arguments used by those in government and some private sector organisations that they cannot afford the pay rises.

From a government perspective much of the money that goes out n pay and increases comes back fairly fast in taxes one way and another.

Richard Murphy is an accountant and economist so well worth reading his arguments for giving pay rises in the public sector.
