North Planning Committee To Deal With More Wind Turbine Applications on 25 January

There seems to be no end in sight to applications for turbines in Highland. The north planning committee of Highland council will meet on 25 January 2023 to look at New Applications.

With returns from energy turbines now up to five times what they were a few years ago many are pushing to get increased benefits to local communities where they are located.

It is to be expected that even more wind farms will come and extensions to many of the existing ones. A rethink is overdue by Scottish Government and in the light of budgets being cut the time is now.
