John O'Groats Mill - Come Help Us Plant Some Trees!
11th April 2023
The Mill has made significant progress towards our goal of creating a Must Visit place for Caithness folk and visitors. Both the Mill and its landscape are important.
COME HELP US PLANT SOME TREES!
This coming SAT 15 APR from 10:30 onwards we'll be planting saplings that were very kindly gifted to us from the Woodland Trust & friends, over at the Mill Pond.
Last year we invited everyone to come help sow wildflower seeds along the coastal path & it really turned into something special! So in much the same spirit come along (for as little or as long as you can manage), absolutely bring the kiddos...and maybe some sensible footwear!
If you can, bring a spade but don’t panic, there’s no real digging. We’re only making small openings in the ground. Easy! You’ll even get to put your name on a tree & watch it grow up.
Many hands make light work. Everyone welcome.
Hope to see you there.
