Average Energy Bills Drop Nearly £430 A Year From July As Ofgem Drops The Pricecap

Ofgem is lowering its energy price cap from the current £3,280 per year to £2,074 for the average household in Scotland, England and Wales from July.

The wholesale price of energy has dropped in recent months and the new cap level reflects this.

Then new limit still leave bills at double from where they used to be.

Of course averages may mean nothing if you are not average and some people are still on fixed rates that may be coming to an end.
