US Federal Reserve officials have announced a pause in interest-rate hikes, leaving rates at 5% to 5.25% after more than a year of consecutive rate increases.
The Fed has raised interest rates 10 consecutive times since March 2022.
BUT the FED is signalling more rate rises may yet come if inflation does not reduce to its target 2 percent.
European Central Bank Rate decision is Thursday 15th June.
The Bank of England will make its next interest rate known on Thursday 22 June.
