Caithness Business Index Passes 20,000 Articles

The Caithness Business index started on 29th April 2001 as an extension of Caithness.org.

22 years later it has surpassed the traffic of the parent site.

This week the number of articles posted passed 20,000 even after over 500 deletions over the years.

The original idea was to post items about Caithness businesses as well as being a handy reference to all the businesses in the county.

As the years have gone by the number of articles posted has grown by following what is popular shown by the number of hits and the types of articles trending.

Any local business can have an article about what they do free of charge. Too few of these are received so many other sources are now used.

The articles all flow out to the Caithness.org Facebook page and mingle with the community and other sources such as our forum jobs section.
