House Prices in 2024?. Boxing Day is usually the busiest day of the year for Rightmove as record numbers of new sellers and potential buyers flock to the website following the Christmas break.

This increase in seller and buyer activity is often marketed as a positive bounce, however, an increase in the supply of properties may have the opposite effect and continue to suppress house prices.

The UK housing market crash started over a year ago and it is expected to continue next year with all major indexes predicting further house price falls in 2024.

The UK House price CRASH could take many years to fully play out as it will take some time for home values to come down to reflect higher interest rates and the subsequent increased cost of debt.
