Fergus Ewing has blasted the Scottish Government's GP reforms for the "shockingly" low vaccination rates in the Highlands as a measles outbreak sweeps the UK and Europe.

Figures from Public Health Scotland show that only 84.5% of five-year-olds in the Highland and Argyll and Bute council areas received the two doses of the Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) inoculation last year. This was 5.1% lower than the national average.
