The European Central Bank (ECB) Cuts Interest Rate 4% Down To 3.75%

The EU has become the second major global economy to cut its lending rate this week.

The European Central Bank (ECB) announced a cut in its main interest rate from an all-time high of 4% to 3.75%.

That follows Canada's decision on Wednesday to cut its official lending rate to 4.75%.

The Bank of England will announce the rate on 20 June 2024. The current rate is 5.25%.

The USA Fed Res rate is 5.50% and the next announcement will be on 12 June 2024.
