Politicians keep claiming that the government must run its affairs just like a household. Absolutely nothing could be further from the truth or more harmful for our economy.

Let us hope the government will not lead us into a depression as n 1929 and thereafter. The UK government tried to balance the books
by cuts in government spending which made matters worse.
