Most people will be shocked at how much energy we are using via the internet now with AI taking more and more. One created photo using AI from your phone uses up to half the battery but now on your phone but away in a distant data centre. Huge data centres are now being built in many places including the UK. Can the national grid keep up and at what cost with the rising demand for more and more wind farms and solar. At present government seems to be sitting back and letting it all happen. Should governments take more interest than right now?
