Mentoring scheme aims to bolster women's careers in Aquaculture sector

The WiSA mentoring programme is a 9-month scheme which matches established industry leaders with women in the sector keen to develop and grow their careers.

About the programme
Through one-to-one sessions, the mentoring programme will provide training and support for both mentees and mentors. Participants in the programme will meet over several months to build up skills such as creating a network, making career decisions, cultivating leadership styles, and building confidence.​

We are looking for mid-to senior male and female academics and aquaculture industry professionals eager to make a difference, as well as women entering the sector or women in the early stages of their careers with a commitment to aquaculture who are looking to enhance their careers.

The programme is fully funded via sponsorship from Crown Estate Scotland; however, it requires a commitment from participants to actively engage with the programme.
