European Central Bank cuts interest to 2.5%

The ECB on Thursday cut interest rates by 25 basis points, as was widely expected ahead of the decision. This is the third cut by the European Central Bank this year and covers 20 countries.

The interest rate in UK is currently 4.5% and the next change will come on 8 May 2025.

For USA the next Federal Reserve interest rate meeting and decision is due on May 7th, 2025.
