Average house price for mortgage buyers rose in Highland

The average price of a home bought with a mortgage in Highland was £206,000 in March 2025 (provisional). This was higher than an average of £196,000 in March 2024 (revised).

Across Scotland, the average price of a home bought with a mortgage was £194,000, up from £184,000 a year earlier.

Across Great Britain, the average price for buying with a mortage in March 2025 was £281,000, which was up from an average of £263,000 in March 2024.

For cash buyers in Highland, the average was £222,000 in March 2025 (provisional), which was up from a revised figure of £214,000 a year earlier.

In March 2025, the average was £171,000 in Scotland and £258,000 in Great Britain.
