There have been recent reports of scam emails that appear to be from pharmacies including Lloyds Direct (part of Lloyds Pharmacy) and offer free delivery or collection of prescriptions.
You are asked to click a link in the email to sign up for an account with the pharmacy. As well as free prescription delivery or collection, this will supposedly allow you to order and receive reminders for repeat prescriptions.
These links lead to scam websites which often copy the logos and branding of the NHS or legitimate pharmacies, where you are asked to enter personal details, including your NHS number.
How to Avoid
Don't click on links provided in unexpected emails. If you are an existing customer with Lloyds Direct or another pharmacy, access your account via the official website or app.
Find the official website or customer support number using a separate browser and search engine.
