A Small Animal Santuary in Caithness Needs Help After Storm Amy

Wendy Poole at Hilliclay, Caithness runs a small self-funded sanctuary for animals that owners no longer want, cannot look after them anymore, or who leave the area and are unable to take their pets/animals with them.

The barn where some of the animals live was hit hard in storm Amy. Help is needed to ensure that it continues to offer help for animals.

Wendy has run the sanctuary for over 11 years and rehomed many, many animals which includes dogs, cats, sheep, poultry of all sorts and two wonderful donkeys.

A GoFundMe page has been set up set up to raise funds for the repairs to the barn roof which was damaged during Storm Amy.
