Wick Diamond Jubilee HarbourFest Tee Shirts now available!
6th May 2012
The Wick Diamond Jubilee HarbourFest & RNLI Lifeboat Day
15th, 16th & 17th June 2012
Visitors to the Wick Diamond Jubilee HarbourFest will have the opportunity of sporting a specially designed tee shirt for the event. Featuring the latitude of Wick Harbour, 58° North, the name of 'Wick' in marine signalling flags and a red, white and blue yacht, the tee shirt is expected to be a great hit with both children and adults.
HarbourFest Committee member Sandy Manson of Reid's Pharmacy & Perfumery sponsored the design and manufacture of the Diamond Jubilee themed attire. He said,""We were delighted to support the HarbourFest by arranging the production of these quality garments. We have them for sale in our High Street shop and they are already proving popular amongst the young folk of the town. Visitors to the 2009 HarbourFest, especially the visiting boat crews, bought them as souvenirs of the event and the easily identified Wick design has been seen all over the world - in fact we have a photograph in our shop window of a yachtsman sporting one in the British Virgin Idlands!"
The tee shirts, costing £9.99 each, are available in four sizes and make ideal presents to those living away from Caithness and in addition to Reid's Pharmacy, can be purchased from the following outlets in the town:
Malcolm's Newsagent, Kinnaird Street; the Blythswood Shop on High Street and the Wick Harbour Office.
