Abnormal loads for Baillie Windfarm - A9 Scrabster

2nd June 2012

The initial movement of 33 Abnormal Loads for Baillie Windfarm in Caithness will take place on Monday 4th June through to Wednesday 6th June.

The route to be followed will be from A9 Scrabster Harbour turning right at the A836 junction (junction at the Weigh Inn) to a storage area close to Dounreay.

The movement, which will be escorted by the Police, will be timed to cause the least amount of disruption to Ferry and commuter traffic but because of the size and the amount of loads there may be some minor traffic delays on the route especially at pinch points on the roads.

The safety of road users is the main consideration when moving these loads and the patience of the travelling public is always appreciated.
