Free Networking Opportunity for Social Enterprises

Highlands and Islands Social Enterprise Zone (HISEZ) have been running successful networking events across the Highlands and Islands for the last 3 years. With expertise in support for Social Enterprises and advice for anyone wishing to start a social enterprise, these events have been an ideal opportunity for many to find out more information and to meet like-minded organisations.

Now HISEZ is bringing 'Advancing your Social Enterprise' networking events to Helmsdale and to Balintore to encourage communities, organisations and individuals to explore the options available to them, for free.

HISEZ are a well-established support organisation for Social Enterprises in the Highlands & Islands. As part of the Just Enterprise consortium, they deliver free support for new start and established organisations as well as networking Social Enterprises.

Their successful networking lunch model brings their support and advice straight into the heart of communities, helping organisations and individuals move forward quickly. In addition to this, they also invite along a variety of speakers, from funders to support organisations.

Coming along to the Helmsdale event on Tuesday 30 October will be Interface Scotland who match businesses with academics who are able to find solutions to business challenges such as market research or design for new products. At Balintore on Wednesday 31 October, Hi-Arts will come along to tell delegates about Crowdfunding which is a great way for people to raise investment for new initiatives without apply for funding.
