Police investigate thefts of outboard motors from coastal locations in the Highlands

The Highland and Islands Division of Police Scotland is investigating a number of thefts of outboard motors from various coastal locations across the area. These have occurred during the early part of this month and have been removed from moored boats when the tide has been low or from unsecured sheds.
Police are urging people to secure their property and to record serial numbers and descriptions of their engines. People are also urged to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
