Airline adds extra services between Edinburgh and Wick airports

FLYBE ANNOUNCE NEW SERVICES BETWEEN EDINBURGH AND WICK JOHN O’ GROATS.
Flybe franchise partner, Loganair, will be adding an extra two services between Edinburgh
and Wick from Friday, September 27 this year.
The carrier currently operates six rotations (12 flights) a week between the capital and Wick
John O’Groats airport from Sunday through Friday.
The new services will operate to the following timetable:
Edinburgh – Wick Wick - Edinburgh
Friday 14:20-15:15 Friday 15:45-16:40
These flights are conveniently timed to enhance connections to Wick via Edinburgh from
Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast, Southampton, and East Midlands.
In addition, Loganair’s code-share relationship with British Airways ensures there will be
links between London and Wick with Heathrow and Gatwick flights all connecting to the
current and new Edinburgh service

The new flights will go on sale from today Monday, August 19, for travel from Friday, September 27.
Commenting on the extra rotations, Loganair’s chief operating officer Phil Preston, said:
“We are very pleased to be able to offer these additional services between Edinburgh and
Wick, expanding the link between the two regions.
“Wick has an impressive history and heritage, as well as being the principal town in the far north of the mainland. It is an appealing short break destination, and the new Friday
afternoon service will open up many weekend leisure opportunities.
“As an airline, we continually monitor customer demand and endeavour to manage our
schedule accordingly, so we are sure these extra seats will be quickly snapped up by
customers.”
