Each year over 1000 Shell Step students take on these challenges, for small and medium-sized companies throughout the UK, and achieve outstanding results.

Shell Step places second and penultimate year undergraduates, from all academic disciplines, with businesses to deliver real working projects. The placements run for 8 weeks during the summer break and can be in any industry sector.

Companies have used the programme to investigate new services, research and develop new products, launch ecommerce websites, build bespoke software, streamline processes and deliver benefits throughout their organisations.

Last year 121 Scottish companies had the services of agraduate thanks to the Shellstep programme. Undergraduates bring skills, knowledge and plenty of enthusiasm that can be put to good use in many small and medium sized companies.
