IGNITE WOODFUEL TRAINING - LANTRA ACCREDITED

Ignite is the UK's first formal woodfuel training course and has been running successfully across the UK since January 2004.

Ignite is a winner of the 2006 National Training Awards and is accredited by Lantra Awards. The qualification sits alongside chainsaw and other similar qualifications in the forestry qualifications framework.

Ignite is designed for those considering diversifying their business into woodfuel supply or installing a system. Participants to date have included foresters, land agents, arborists, farmers, energy consultants and public sector staff. Ignite covers the following topics:

2. Woodfuel Resource
3. Woodfuel Systems
4. Woodfuel Technology
